Why is this design the best? All
other bottle holders are designed to either sit loosely on baby's
chest, or around the baby's neck. This does not provide proper
stability for the bottle, and leads to the bottle falling out of baby's
mouth too easily. Some also are designed poorly in an attempt to imitate the Prop-up. They key to the Prop-up© being the prefect bottle holder is it's sleek design! I had tested so many designs before designing this pattern. And this is the only one that WORKS! It is designed to fit snugly, not to move during feeding and be completely mom/baby friendly! ADVANTAGES OF THIS DESIGN:The Prop-up© cannot move while feeding and the bottle is positioned so that the baby can remove it from their mouth if they are no longer hungry. Designed so that if baby needs to cough, the bottle is not "forced" to stay in the mouth. Its position and design allows NO milk to be on the Prop-up so there is no need to wash it. (All the other designs I have seen would need to be frequently washed because of the position the holder has in regards to the baby's mouth). NOTE:Message from Pixie Patterns: The pictures that are on the Pixie Patterns Pattern Cover are from an old
template, and since I have not taken anymore pictures lately, due to a new horrible quality camera, I don't have the updated pictures on the pattern cover. I have made the design better, compared to the pictures on the cover. As nice as those look, they were too bulky and had to be re-done, as I was not satisfied with it. They just were not as functional as the new slimmer design. This design is much better and has been designed to be able to fit better inside an infant car seat when baby is drinking, as this is where most people use it. The old design was too bulky and didn't fit right. Also the arms are longer because, again from the old template, the arms were not long enough to keep the Prop-up stable. When used you will see it works great, and will not be disappointed! This Prop-up picture is from a lovely customer who made it using the new Pixie Patterns Pattern Template. This is the SAME template that is used by Erica to make these ORIGINAL Prop-ups.
