Pixie Patterns

I am a stay at home mother of 3 beautiful little girls, and they my inspiration for all my wonderful hand made items and patterns.

I began sewing and knitting as a wonderful hobby a few years ago. At first it seemed overwhelming and confusing. I found patterns to be quite confusing and vague. Just opening one stressed me out.

Sewing is not easy, and it can feel overwhelming at times.  Most patterns and instructions I came across were vague and confusing. Even some that were marketed as "easy" were not easy in the least.

I got frustrated and decided then and there that I would no longer subject myself, or others, to those horribly complicated and ill-designed patterns. I began sewing things based on my own ideas of what worked and what didn't, and tweaked them as I went.

I always create and test my own items before making a pattern, and to make one is quite a process. I sew a "prototype", take notes, sew another, make more notes, have the item modeled for pictures, adjust the pictures for lighting and color, and then create the written and illustrated pattern. I will sometimes re-do a pattern 4-5 times just to make sure I did it the easiest and best way possible before putting it out on the market.

All my Pixie Patterns are carefully made and they have one specific goal; to help you understand what you are doing, step-by-step, and create beautiful items with no hassle, or even experience.

I am proud to share my Pixie Patterns© with you, and a lot of sewing know-how is not required because they are so detailed and easy to understand.
